- Gen X are who gave birth to Gen Y and who taught them their morals (or lack of) and "values". This is the same generation whose presence in our government will take from programs that help others but won't dare to raise taxes on the rich, will not support background checks nor healthcare.

- this is a 19 year old kid. What brings a kid to this road. What is he thinking now, in that boat, bleeding, about to die , unless he is already dead. I am a parent. This kid did something unforgivable but still as a parent I can't help but feel some compassion.
